The non-profit grant is a grant provided by the grant maker in order to up bring of the society. The grant makers are the entities that provide the grant. These grant makers can be a government agency, a private foundation or a social service organization.

The application for the grant can be made by individuals or organizations depending on many factors. If an individual or organization that is willing to apply for the non-profit grant has to check for the eligibility criteria they simply need to approach the grant office or can research online.

The Government Organizations that can apply for non-profit grants:

  5. Native American Tribal Governments (has to be federally recognized)

Education Organizations those are eligible:
  1. Independent School Districts

The Non-Profit Organizations that fulfil below given needs are also eligible:
  1. Non-profit organization which has a 501(c) (3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
  2. Non-profit organization that does not have a 501(c) (3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education.

The Non-Profit grant is a very useful grant in social service sector. The social service organisations can gather information of these grants and help the needed people through it or to apply of these grants. The non-profit grants give the recipient full authorization to use the allotted funds in their sector.
